LAFITTE’S BLACKSMITH SHOP BAR

This old tavern is one of the oldest buildings in the city and one of the only testimonies of the French colonial style that was spared by the fires of 1788 and 1794. We recommend reading the history related to this house on the bar's website. Today the store has become a dark, candle-lit bar. A pianist-singer plays in the background, often accompanied by customers singing. It has a special atmosphere.
