Open since 1933, this bar is known for its Hurricane cocktail which you have to try. The glass in which it is served is the bar's logo and you can leave with it. Pat O'Brien's is actually four bars in one: the Main Bar which is more like a neighborhood bar, the Piano Bar and its live entertainment, the outdoor Patio Bar with wrought iron tables and chairs around the water and fire fountains, and the Bourbon Bar overlooking Bourbon Street. A good advice, don't wear your Sunday shoes to hang out in this place.

Si vous voulez boire un bon cocktail de la Nouvelle Orléans il faut aller chez Pat O'Brian, dans le Vieux Carré, gouter au Hurricane et surtout au Mint Julep, notre préféré. Attention, ça cogne ! On vous facture les verres, mais ils sont remboursés lorsque vous "ramenez" la consigne. Mais il y a aussi des gobelets en plastique (c'est moins bien)
