The Snug is one of the best jazz clubs in the city. This place is designed for modern jazz lovers. The most famous jazz musicians play here, as well as lesser known ones. Often guest musicians come to jam. The club is very intimate and the space is small. But it is the best place in town to enjoy jazz and meet the musicians. There is often one of the Marsalis family musicians around. Bonus: the club also houses a restaurant specializing in grilled meats and seafood.

A mythical club where the great names of the jazz give concerts for initiates as for beginners. We were there in December 2011 with my mother, on jazz, and we were not disappointed. The room is very small, and as a result, we sit around a small round table with other lovers come from all horizons. We speak jazz of course, but also of our experience and our discoveries in new orleans. A drink is served to us, and concert begins. Wynton Marsalis is in the place with its jazz high flight. the atmosphere is the swing, not prevent himself from swinging measures around the room.
