Housed in a former church, the Marigny Opera House is an organization dedicated to the performing arts and to the career development of New Orleans artists. This "church of the arts", as it is called, is non-denominational of course, and presents performances of various genres. Its high, arched ceiling provides the perfect resonance for acoustic performances. The program includes artistic performances that touch on music, dance, theater, spoken word, etc.
