KERMIT'S TREME MOTHER IN LAW LOUNGE

Opened in 1994 by the late R&B singer Ernie K-Doe and then called Mother-in-Law Lounge, the place is now under the stewardship of New Orleans musician Kermit Ruffins and reopened in 2014. In addition to frequently seeing your host on stage, the lounge features live entertainment almost every night. You should also try the food prepared on site or by local chefs (plus a barbecue in the courtyard). Mention should be made of the frescoes that cover the building.
