Probably the best known independent record store in town, it is a veritable Ali Baba's cave for finding local music nuggets, its great specialty. Jazz, blues, zydeco, R&B and many other musical styles are available, both on CD and vinyl. The place also sells DVDs, books, sheet music, posters, T-shirts and more. If you're visiting during the jazz festival, don't miss the Factory Fest, which features two days of performances in front of the New Orleans Jazz Museum, in partnership with the record store.
