[From 2019] Fave place to stay in NOLA. Free parking lot, close to the St. Charles Streetcar, and a great Pizza place close by as well...Slice Pizzaria.

[From 2024] So sad that this has now closed. Hoping someone will reopen soon. We loved staying there.

Also, Slice Pizzaria is now U Pizza. Hope to try it on my next trip to NOLA.

Turned up Oct 2023 and it was closed down, padlocked fence around the building & not informed by the booking agent or new owners.

Booked a room there in August for my November trip, I’ve landed around 6pm and arrived to the hotel to find out that was close! No info nothing just a big lot closed!

Me and my wife showed up after a long flight only to find the group of hotels had been closed for renovations for the past 6 weeks. We booked months before that but were given no notice that was the case, no email, no phone call, nothing. Luckily we avoided being stranded thanks to our lovely user driver and his phone.

Awful service, would never recommend

Hotel is closed. We booked months in advance, upon arrival today the gates are locked with a padlocks. Their websites states that they closed September 8th. We were not notified nor were we refunded for the stay.

The location of the hotel is absolutely awesome because it’s right near everything such as Bourbon St., Canal, even a Walmart was less than like 10 minutes away so I recommend it for that but I did not appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the sheets were awful. My friends and I spent about 35 minutes sanitizing the room before we can even get comfortable. The rooms are built like a two story apartment which looks cool but the air conditioning was only on the lower floor so it was absolutely hot up there.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance.

The room we were assigned to smelled terrible, stagnant, musty and strong cleaning chemicals. We complained and were shown two more rooms with the same issue. Finally got room that smelled hot not as bad. Bed was very uncomfortable.

The hotel Manager that works in the evening named Ehmiran is friendly, professional and extremely helpful. He deserves a raise. Thank you, will be back again soon!

My first time in NOLA and we stayed here. The loft area gave the privacy of being in a different room but was still nice and open. The spiral stairs were super small for a large person but we made it work. Plus the free parking and the quick walk to the streetcar!

Pros : The hotel was affordable
Great location - the trolly system is easily accessible - download the app for maps etc
Free parking
Free breakfast
Friendly staff
Cute outdoor seating
Price
Kids loved the loft room

Cons
Not super handicap friendly
Piping isn’t the best so don’t unload huge Timbers ????
Not for the bougie or those expecting Hilton service for motel6 pricing
Older guests so you can’t really talk on the courtyard after 10????

We had an amazing experience here! The bed was soft, it was very clean, and the customer service was fantastic! Good little continental breakfast and free parking. I will definitely be staying here again anytime I'm in New Orleans!

First time in NOLA, and we'd definitely stay here again!
Pros
-friendly staff
-free parking on site in a well-lit parking lot
-close to great restaurants, Walgreens, and a trolly stop to take you to the French Quarter
-comfortable bed
-decent breakfast options
-individual ac units in each room
-fridge and microwave in room
Cons
-landscaper's tools going at 9am (not pleasant to be woken up to that, you can hear everything outside of the door)
-breakfast ends at nine am (I think it's weird as NOLA is a notorious party city... if you're out partying late, don't count on the hotel breakfast, just bring your own)
-there was mold on the shower curtain, but I wipes mine down and opened it up every time I took a shower to let the water dry off. NOLA is in a swampy area, so you do have to actively think about how you're combating mold and mildew anywhere here.
-the wardrobe in our room had a funky gym sock smell, so I wasn't able to hang my clothes.

Overall a pleasant experience, and I would come and stay here again. Just make sure you bring some breakfast items if you're gonna party all night in the Quarter and miss breakfast. And make sure to air out the shower curtain- you're in a swamp, so be proactive about fighting mold and mildew. This place is in a well-lit area and a more residential party of the Garden District. There are homeless people a few blocks down, they really don't bother you when you're out and about (not aggressive at all-coming from a female traveler).

Hôtel confortable, bien placé tram pas loin et avec parking . Attention ne pas voir les lieux avec une vision des hôtel français
Le petit dej est sommaire mais suffisant à mon goût.

The receptionist was amazing, we felt she really went the extra mile for us. She even let us check in early which we really appreciated. Parking was super easy and convenient. Room was clean, had plenty of towels and toiletries provided. They had shower caps, soap, lotion, mouthwash and makeup remover wipes. My only complaint is that it was hard to sleep with the footsteps in the room above us. This can’t really be helped and obviously depends on the upstairs stayers. We have discussed and agreed that if we ever return to Nola this place will be our first pick for stays.

We booked the old world standard. The website says room amenities microwave and mini fridge when we got there they said "oh not in all the rooms". They told me they meant to put that on the website but they didn't so now they are changing it. After the fact that we booked thinking we had a refrigerator and a microwave and brought stuff with us that needed to go in the fridge. Additionally it says that the temperature in the building is controlled by them. The air conditioner was non-existent. The inside temperature was exactly the same as the outside temperature. We had to pay a lot of extra money to upgrade to a somewhat decent room. We had to pay extra to upgrade to get the amenities that were described on the website.
The 2nd day my roommate tried to work at the desk but the outlets on the desk are broken and will not work for a grounded plug. After yelling at me that she knew one was broken but the other should work, they brought an extension cord and had to move the bed to plug it in at 8am. I was waiting to return to sleep but the front desk staff came in to yell at me for not assuming the cheaper room had no fridge. We are returning customers but in the year time this place has become overpriced with poor quality and service.
