BASE DEPARTEMENTALE DE VOILE ET D'AVIRON DE LAVALETTE

Created to fuel the town of Saint-Etienne, Lake Lavalette is a rich tourist. Courses are offered for adults and children (for 3 years), to initiate or improve the practice of sailing. You can also follow courses of catamaran, windsurfing, rowing, kayaking or boating. Special rowing courses on time and on reservation are also available. For those who are more knowledgeable, the equipment is for rent. You can also rent catamarans, windsurfing, kayaks and pedal boats from two to six places. Around the dam, mountain biking circuits (8 km, 16 km and 30 km) have been marked as well as the Arboretum Arboretum Trail to discover fauna and flora. On the base, you can enjoy the snack-snack, playground and picnic areas, and football and volleyball grounds. It is therefore an ideal place to spend a relaxing day with family or friends.
