Hotel located about 20 minutes walk from downtown offering 28 rooms equipped with bathroom and air conditioning

It is located about 20 minutes walk from the city centre (1 km) and as much from the beach, which makes it a reasonably close hotel. Here you will find peace and quiet par excellence! Set up in a mansion since 1957, the hotel has beautiful traditional mosaics on the floor, combined with more modern furniture. The hotel has 28 rooms, all of which are equipped with a bathroom, television and air conditioning. It is advisable to book in advance a room with a balcony, which offers a magnificent view of the rocks of the Calura.

Almeno si potessero assegnare zero stelle. Il fatto più sconcertante è stata la totale assenza di sensibilità e la non curanza da parte dei proprietari. Ho prenotato questa struttura per due miei amici, invitati al mio matrimonio. Una volta arrivati in struttura, in doccia vanno via la corrente e acqua calda, hanno chiamato la reception e gli è stato risposto che non avevano soluzione e che "sono cose che capitano" . La conseguenza è stata che oltre alla doccia fredda non si sono potuti preparare per tempo e sono arrivati in Chiesa a messa finita. Ma il peggio è accaduto all'indomani quando con mio stupore ho ricevuto un'email nella quale scoprivo che per errore erano state fatte due prenotazioni per le stesse date. Specifico che il giorno del mio matrimonio, il 22 Settembre a Cefalù, c'è stato un incendio di proporzioni epiche, un incendio che purtroppo ha fatto anche delle vittime quindi immaginate che io sposa, avevo la testa da tutt'altra parte, il mio ultimo pensiero non era certo quello di controllare l'email. Chiamo la struttura e chiedo il perchè non mi avessero informata della doppia prenotazione quando qualche giorno prima avevo chiamato per confermare la camera dei miei amici. Nessuna risposta (sapevano e volevano approfittarsene). Mi sono scusata, ho detto molto gentilmente alla receptionist che capivo che non potevano rimborsarmi per la seconda camera e proponevo di venirmi incontro con uno sconto per un prossimo soggiorno, ho proposto di tornare da loro per il mio anniversario di matrimonio l'anno prossimo. La risposta è stato un secco no. E' così che trattate i vostri clienti? In una giornata tra l'altro così problematica per la città di Cefalù con le strade chiuse e con dei morti, per tenervi €100 avete perso la faccia. Volete fare business? Sappiate che un'attività per essere portata avanti ha bisogno soprattutto di proprietari con una buona reputazione ed etica professionale. Avete dimostrato di essere proprio degli essere piccoli.

I wish I could give zero stars. The worst part was the total lack of sensitivity and carelessness from the owners. I booked this property for two of my friends who were invited to my wedding. Once they arrived at the property, the power and hot water went off while in the shower, they called the reception and were told that they had no solution and that "these things happen". The consequence was that in addition to the cold shower, they were unable to prepare in time and arrived at the church after mass was over. But the worst happened the next day when, to my amazement, I received an email in which I discovered that two reservations had been made for the same dates by mistake. I want to highlight that on the day of my wedding, September 22nd in Cefalù, there was a fire of epic proportions, a fire which unfortunately also claimed victims so imagine that as a bride, my mind was somewhere else and my last thought certainly wasn't to check my email. I called the hotel and asked why they hadn't informed me of the double booking when I had called a few days earlier to confirm my friends' room. No response (they knew and wanted to take advantage of it). I apologised, very kindly told the receptionist that I understood that they could not refund me for the second room and proposed to accommodate me with a discount for a future stay, I proposed to book for my wedding anniversary next year. The answer was a firm no. Is this how you treat your customers? On such a problematic day for the city of Cefalù with the roads closed and deaths, you wanted to keep €100 but you lost your credibility. Do you want to run a business? You need to know that a business needs an owner with a good reputation and professional ethic for it to be successful. You have shown your true colors. Please be careful, don't ever book this property for your stay.
