CAMPING MUNICIPAL ETNA ^{* *}

A historic (opened in 1965) and mountainous campground (although located in a pine forest that provides welcome shade in summer over the pitches). This miraculously flat site is located at an altitude of 980 meters, so remember to bring a little wool for those chilly evenings, especially in spring and fall. It is equipped with a children's area, a bar, a swimming pool, ping-pong tables, a grocery store and even a disco. Good atmosphere but old-fashioned sanitary facilities that could use a makeover.
