It perfectly illustrates the baroque character of old Catania. The early 18th century church of San Benedetto, richly decorated both on the façade and inside, has a beautiful marble staircase. It is followed by the Church of the Gesuiti, whose Vaccarrini cloister has arches and pilaster columns. A little further north, the baroque church of San Giuliano is also the work of Vaccarini, with a beautiful façade and a gallery to which the visitor can access. The interior, dominated by a dome, contains a precious 15th century crucifix.

Balade très agréable à 2 pas de la place centrale avec cet arc du 18ème siècle , quelques tardasses sont là afin que vous passiez un agréable moment

J'ai trouvé cette rue un peu tristounette en fin d'après midi. Je crois qu'elle est plus animée le soir car il y a quelques terrasses.
