Restaurant in the heart of the Ortigia market, question of freshness, it couldn't be better! Good choice of pasta and seafood dishes of course. Beautiful Sicilian specialities with a provenience of the products. Tuna tartars, prawns, oysters, a nice octopus and potato salad, and many meats and fishes prepared in the local style. Very good value for money. Very reasonable budget, and copious plates. Simplicity and beautiful products well prepared and seasoned as in family kitchens.

Abbiamo adorato cenare alla Carnezzeria. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati fino alla nostra partenza, tutto è stato gestito molto bene. Apprezzo il team per aver messo insieme un'esperienza così bella, ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati dal cibo e dal servizio. Lo consiglio vivamente! Non vedo l’ora della mia prossima visita.

Highly recommended, and absolutely stellar dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with the aroma of freshly prepared seafood dishes. The ambiance was charming and inviting.
