If there is a shop where you can stop to taste or buy traditional pastries and chocolates from Modica, this is it. This historic shop recently celebrated its 150th anniversary and offers a wide selection of specialities: chocolate of course, but also "mpanatigghi", a kind of biscuit inherited from the Spanish occupation and the need to preserve meat (these are small sweet biscuits made with meat and dark chocolate). To test absolutely and of course to bring back in your suitcases in the form of small gifts.

Quel plaisir de pouvoir déguster presque toutes les spécialités de cette maison. Toutes à base de chocolat noir avec des parfums divers et originaux : cardamone, gingembre, piment et même oeuf de thon.
