CONVENTO SANTA MARIA DI GESÙ

There is an adorable church built by the Franciscans in the 15th century, at the foot of Mount Grifone, in the middle of greenery. You can admire its beautiful Renaissance marble portals and sculpted works of the Gagini school. A small chapel in pure Catalan Gothic style and a small cloister, with columns topped with interesting capitals, are in the annexed monastery. Inside the church there is a beautiful wooden statue of the Virgin Mary from the 15th century.
