Just 600 metres from Apoka Safari Lodge and a hop, skip and a jump from the Uganda Wildlife Authority offices, the green-painted bandas at the UWA camp are a godsend for budget travellers wanting to stay in the park. Although rudimentary, the bungalows, with or without sanitary facilities, are clean and equipped with mosquito nets. A generator lights the rooms with a brown light. Small restoration possible (10 to 20 000 Ush) on order. A perfect site to watch the wild animals wandering freely.
