Built in 1923, this colonial hotel can boast of having accommodated Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn during the filming of African Queen in the 1950s, as well as Ernest Hemingway after his double plane crash in Murchison Falls and Butiaba. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm and an atmosphere of an old palace, where time has long since stood still. Now renovated, it features small, bright and cosy rooms, a cosy bar and an elegant à la carte restaurant with Indian influences. Camping is possible in the large garden.
