Die Bush Lodge befindet sich direkt vor dem Gate zum QENP. Die Lage ist super und liegt direkt am Fluss. In der Nacht kommt das “Haus und Hof” Hippo zum Grasen auf das Gelände, daher wird man bei Dunkelheit zu seinem Zelt gebracht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. ❤️ Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Zelte sehr schön als auch sauber. Die Sicherheitslage im Park ist unbedenklich und genauso sicher wie im Rest des Landes! TIPP: Für Ruhesuchende versuchen ein Zelt am Ende des Weges zu bekommen und weiter weg vom Rezeption und Restaurant.

Eine der schönsten Lodges die wir in Afrika bislang erleben konnten. Traumhafte Lage am Kazinga Channel mit grosser Hippo-Population. Sehr bequeme Zelte, abends 4 Gänge Menü bei trockenem Wetter im Freien rund um das Lagerfeuer serviert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nachts kommt oft Hippo Thomas auf Besuch in die Lodge.

Bellissimo Lodge nel parco queen Elisabeth. Un elefante è passato davanti al lodge proprio durante la notte, e un ippo la seconda notte. Strepitoso. Pranzo e cena molto buona

This hotel is a little paradise, tucked away in the equatorial forest. Both the safari tents and the two-story wooden structure housing the reception, lobby and dining room are superb, comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. The monkeys, birds and squirrels that can be seen and heard from the terrace of your own tent are an unforgettable sight and sound. The meals provided on a half-board basis are good and very hearty, although nothing very special either. The hotel staff are very polite and friendly.
Minor drawbacks: 1- There is no internet connection outside the main building, and even there, the connection is scarce and fluctuating. 2- The hotel management only accepts payment in cash, despite the fairly high cost of overnight stays. 3- Lighting in the tents is fairly limited at nightfall and would benefit from being enhanced by one or two lights above the bed, for example.

Nous y avons passé un moment formidable ! Les tentes sont très confortables et la nourriture est excellente ! Juste un peu déçu par le fait que les boissons ne sont pas incluses du tout, nous avons donc été surpris par le départ final. Mais sinon, c'est un endroit tellement agréable où séjourner ! J'ai adoré !

Le Kibale Forest Camp est un endroit idéal où séjourner lors de la visite de Kibale. C'est un complexe confortable et luxueux à l'intérieur de la forêt. Les cottages étaient magnifiques, avec des lits confortables, de bons draps et de l'eau chaude. La nourriture était bonne et le personnel était très serviable. On peut s'attendre à s'asseoir près de la cheminée le soir après une longue journée de randonnée.

Never at any one time have I ever been disappointed by the nature lodges. The meals they prepare keep me in business with them and the rates are really affordable. The Bush lodge has a great view of the kazinga channel with sounds of hippos yawning during the day. The location gives you a good feel of a night in the wilderness as you can hear animals walk at night.

Ambiance merveilleuse et calme. Le chemin forestier dans le lodge est un rêve. Si vous ne voulez pas marcher, vous pouvez simplement vous asseoir devant la tente et attendre une heure. Petit à petit tous les animaux et oiseaux passent : tout simplement merveilleux.

Zimmer (4/5): Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet und gut ausgerüstet. Unser Bett hatte ein zusätzliches Mückennetz und das Bett war bequem. Das Zimmer hatte ein Bad und eine Dusche unter dem Sternehimmel. Etwas sehr speziell aber wunderschön. In der Nacht hört man die Flusspferde vom Gewässer weiter unten. Der einzige Stromanschluss im Raum ist etwas sehr ungünstig platziert und war nicht gut installiert in unserem Raum.
Frühstück (3/5): Am ersten Tag hatten wir "Packed Lunch" was ganz ok war und reichhaltig. Am zweiten Tag assen wir das Frühstück vor Ort. Das essen war ok aber es war ein grosser Bienenschwarm am Buffet. Als Alergiker war das sehr unangenehm und das Personal schien auch nicht gewillt zu sein, etwas dagegen zu unternehmen.
Abendessen (5/5):
Essen war sehr gut. Auf Allergien wurde rücksicht genommen und eine alternative serviert. Man isst rund um das Lagerfeuer in einer Art "Candle light dinner" was sehr schön ist. Sicherheitshalber wird man nach dem Nachtessen zum Zimmer begleitet.
Eine gute Lodge wo man sicherlich übernachten kann. Nähe zum Nationalpark ist ebenfalls gegeben. Etwas potenzial nach oben ist da, aber aus meiner Sicht auf sehr gutem Weg.

Chambre (5/5) : Nous avions une TENTE SAFARI. La tente était équipée d'une douche, d'un WC et d'un grand lit double avec électricité. La tente peut être verrouillée avec un cadenas. Il n'y avait rien de mal avec la tente elle-même. Je me sentais à l'aise et c'était "chez soi". Nous avions assez d'espace et la douche était correcte.
Emplacement (5/5) : L'emplacement est au milieu d'une petite forêt très bien aménagée. Différents singes, oiseaux et autres petits animaux peuvent être aperçus autour des cônes du lodge et autour du bâtiment principal (salle à manger, bar). Vous pouvez également entendre un bruit de "brousse" vraiment agréable la nuit. Le WiFi n'est disponible que dans le bâtiment principal, mais ça va de mon point de vue. Le WLAN est correct en termes de vitesse pour les conditions ougandaises.
Petit-déjeuner (4/5): Le petit-déjeuner est pré-commandé ici, comme c'est souvent le cas en Ouganda. Vous pouvez en commander beaucoup et vous faire servir le lendemain matin. Du "buffet", il n'y a que du jus, du thé, du café et du muesli. Le petit déjeuner était chaud, savoureux et avait un bon choix. De plus, il est venu à notre table très rapidement après notre apparition. Les allergies ont été prises en compte ici.
Déjeuner(5/5):
Nous avons déjeuné ici une fois, en raison de nos activités, cela s'est tout de suite adapté. Un menu de 3 plats était également servi pour le déjeuner. Comme le déjeuner n'était pas inclus dans notre forfait de réservation, nous avons dû payer un supplément. À mon avis, les 10 $ étaient plus que justifiés pour ce menu.
Dîner (5/5):
Le menu à trois plats comprenait toujours une soupe, un plat principal et un dessert. Vous ne pouviez certainement pas vous plaindre de la qualité. De notre voyage en Ouganda certainement une des meilleures adresses "culinairement". Les allergies ont été prises en compte et une alternative a été proposée.

À quelques minutes en voiture de la forêt de Kibale se trouve cet incroyable lodge qui ressemble à une forêt elle-même.
L'hospitalité à son meilleur!, Excellent service, très très arrangeant. Notre chambre, ou devrais-je dire cottage ? Était pittoresque, très confortable et nous étions entourés de singes et d'oiseaux.
Nous avions une personne végétarienne et ils se sont assurés de proposer des alternatives.

Das ist eine einfache Lodge mit kleinen Zelten und außen liegendem Bad. Da es nach außen offen und auch einsehbar ist, ist es nicht so angenehm, nachts dieToilette zu benutzen zumal das Bett kein eigenes Mückennetz hat. Das Waschbecken hat leider keinerlei Ablagen und liegt so unter dem Strohdach, dass man sich ständig den Kopf stösst und nicht aufrecht stehen kann. Der Spiegel ist 30 cm zu niedrig. Die Freiluft Duschen funktionieren gut. Aber :Das Zelt ist mit einem Strohdach überdacht, was viel besser ist als ein Blechdach und hat eine nette Terrasse. Abends und morgens wird man gebracht und abgeholt ,weil der Weg durch die grasenden Hippos doch recht abenteuerlich sein kann. Auch Elefanten gibt es. Nachts war es mir mit der dünnen Bettdecke zu kalt.
Das Restaurant ist in einem einfachen offenen Zelt untergebracht, ebenso die Lounge. Abends wird stimmungsvoll auf der Rasenfläche mit Petroleumlampen gedeckt. Das Frühstück hat als plus Käsescheiben und das Essen ist insgesamt überdurchschnittlich gut, abends 4 Gänge. Das Personal ist supernett und sehr fürsorglich.

Quelle belle loge ! Une belle maison principale, un bon service amical, des massages possibles, un beau jardin où les singes se défoulent et des tentes exceptionnellement bien conçues avec salles de bains. Malheureusement, le miroir est beaucoup trop bas. Malheureusement, le WiFi ne fonctionnait parfois pas pendant des heures. La nourriture est correcte. 15 min en voiture de Chimp trekking.

Bien situé, tout fonctionne comme espéré. Jardin magnifique. Leaflove Safari utilise le lodge pour des voyages pour trouver Pitta ou voir des chimpanzés.

Good food, amazing staff and lodging for every budget and type. You can come here to stay in a lodge room, a ready tent or pitch your own tent. Very close to Queen Elizabeth, you hear hippos all night and they can even come graze next to your tent.

Schiterende locatie, midden in de Bush. Olifanten lopen letterlijk langs je tent.

Buckle up for an amazing experience. This has to be one of nicest lodge I have stayed at in Africa. There aren't any gates or fences around the property so expect to sleep among the wild life! The common area includes a lobby, breakfast and dinner covered tent. Weather permitting dinners are usually held in the center of it all, next to the fire pit. We were fortunate to have had a Hippo stroll pass our dinner table during our first night. The lodge overlooks the river from where you can expect to hear hippos from your tented cottage. The staff was absolutely lovely and the breakfast and dinner was delicious. The tented cottage rooms overall were grand, well furnished and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower.
A few recommendations:
1. Replace the old locks to the tented cottages. ours was severely damaged and could be opened by shaking the door from the outside. This contributed to a slight feeling of unease especially at night, when animals are roaming closely around the property
2. Put flashlights at disposal in each tented cottage
3. Provide a distress button/phone in each cottage case of an emergency at night, when we are discouraged to exit the cottage due to wild animals
A few recommendations:

Food very good and staff lovely. The accommodation is very good - with good showers - and evening meal around a campfire very good. Well situated for early morning game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park.
Hippos and other animals wander round as on shore - need to be accompanied at night. Breathtaking views of stars on a clear night.

The staff are truly excellent - the most helpful we came across during our whole trip.
The food is fairly average for vegetarians but still fine. It was a shame that they didn't have some of the drinks they advertised. There was only one bottle of red/white wine to have - no choice.
The rooms are fine, but they aren't bug-proof. One night we left the light on after it rained and came back to a room overwhelmed with flies!! Not ideal. As someone who mosquitoes are very attracted to I'd potentially question the outdoor shower here too - it's a great idea but I would have to run back inside after showering before they ate me alive!
