Opposite the botanical gardens, the Precious Guesthouse is distinguished by the exterior walls of its eight rooms, plastered and painted fuchsia, and by its flower-filled pergolas. The interiors are simple but clean and equipped with all the essentials (mosquito net, private bathroom, fan...). The guesthouse has a bar nestled in the verdant garden and a restaurant overlooking the street. The chef concocts excellent dishes using fresh local produce, such as tilapia. A very warm welcome.

The roof top restaurant is a great place though a bit cramped if there are many guests but if you are fortunate you can enjoy that space all alone and enjoy fresh air straight from the expanse of lake Victoria, flavored with fragrances from the thousands of trees from the botanical garden
There is safe and very secure parking. And a well maintained garden and walkways.
The rooftop restaurant has a view over the gardens and serves great local dishes. Restaurant closes at 9pm and kitchen closes a bit earlier.
Only a few rooms but the neighbourhood is busy. There is a shopping mall at the end of the street, about 750m away. Walking distance to the beach communities.
