Opened in 1948 and home to Queen Elizabeth II a decade later, the former Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel is one of the city's most prestigious establishments. After months of facelifting, this beautiful white colonial building now boasts an attractive design. The hotel's rooms are stylish, modern with bright colours and flat-screen TVs. Spa, gym and a beautiful swimming pool are also available. Good food and a warm welcome. Wi-Fi and transfer to/from the airport are included in the overnight rate.

This ochre-walled establishment is one of the warmest addresses in Entebbe. The rooms are quite simple with mosquito netting and batik for decoration only, but they are quite spacious, tiled, bright and extremely clean. We especially like to watch the touracos who enjoy the delicious garden of the guesthouse in the middle of which tables can be set up for lunch or dinner. The team's welcome is very cordial. Excellent value for money. Finally, there is a souvenir shop.

Founded in 2012 by two islanders (Corsica and New Zealand), Karibu is one of the most beautiful addresses on the peninsula. The eight rooms, very clean, are warm and duly equipped (mosquito net, Internet connection...). The garden, where birds abound (among which the colourful bidentate barbican and red-belted souimanga), hides a small swimming pool behind a green wall. The meals, excellent, are concocted, as far as possible, with fresh fruit and vegetables from the property. Good welcome.

This hotel, located a stone's throw from the golf course and a short hop from the Imperial Mall, suffers a little from its gigantic size with its 269 rooms and four restaurants. Consequently, the friendly staff, the large swimming pool, the equipment in the rooms (flat screen TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, wifi...) and the smile of the Aga Khan IV on the unmistakable portrait in the lobby cannot prevent this establishment from exuding a certain coldness. Note the presence of a gym and a sauna.

The charming address of Entebbe in a beautifully restored former colonial house from the 1940s. Reservations are essential as The Boma is very popular. The swimming pool and several kiosks, set in a green setting, decorate the hotel's courtyard. The interior, mixing ethnic and colonial influences with modern comfort, is very successful. The rooms are pleasant and duly equipped. The small restaurant Céans enjoys an excellent reputation. A small library is, finally, at the disposal of the customers.

This small guesthouse located in front of the UN base has simple but clean rooms, equipped (TV, air conditioner or fan, wifi, shower room, refrigerator...) and functional. The welcome is charming and the location convenient, 3 km from the international airport (the staff can organize your travel to/from the airfield). A small garden with tables shaded by umbrellas and a good quality kitchen complete this nice description. All in all, an unpretentious but recommendable address!

Situated opposite the Botanical Garden, the Precious Guesthouse is distinguished by the exterior walls of its eight rooms, plastered and painted with fuchsia, and by its flowered pergolas. The interior of the accommodation is rather sober but very clean and equipped with the essentials (mosquito net, private bathroom, fan...). The guesthouse has a bar nestled in the green garden and a restaurant overlooking the street. The chef concocts excellent dishes using fresh local produce, such as tilapia. A warm welcome awaits you.
