PALENQUE DE LOS CONGOS REALES

Located just a stone's throw from the Casa de La Musica, the Palenque de Los Congos Reales is THE place for Afro-Cuban music in Trinidad, if not in Cuba. The Conjunto Folklorico regularly performs its incredible and authentic Afro-Cuban music and dances in front of an essentially Cuban audience. During our visit, on Friday at 6pm, a folkloric music group from Trinidad was playing with a lot of staging. Amazing!
