VÉLORAIL DU VELAY

At an altitude of 800 metres, in the former SNCF railway station transformed into a gîte, which is also the starting point of the greenway La Tracolline, the two routes through forests, the Dunières viaduct, the Vernelle viaduct, as well as the Champ tunnel with its 240 metre curve and the long straight Fruges tunnel of 600 metres await you. An 8 km round trip and, as an extension, the second route offers the possibility to make the outward journey by panoramic train and the return journey downhill by vélorail, to admire the wild valleys and the Velay mountains.
