FRENCH TOWER HOTEL

Happy with this well located hotel, near the old town (15 minutes walk). The young woman with the welcome is very pleasant and helpful and offers double rooms for 56th. They are clean and spacious with air-conditioning and a small refrigerator. The bathroom is clean and functional. Breakfast is served on pleasant covered terrace, street views. It begins at 8:30 (unfortunately, not earlier and 9:00 during Ramadan) and serves breakfast " classiques" : tea, gay, jam... Recommended.

Disappointed by this hotel: upon arrival, the 2 friends who travelled with us and we same found a small room where we could not even open the luggage!

In the morning, endless breakfast because it has only 4 tables on the terrace and employees (kids) are an incredible slowness.

The staff at the reception the day is friendly and pleasant, and it very well speaks English, however the employee night which is here until 8:30 only speak Kurdish and Arabic.

While I had reserved rooms by Tel. and fax 2 months in advance, we had the surprise for our last night in Damas, see us offering a room with 4 beds.

While leaving before to go on tour, I had taken to write your in English diary hotel (always because of Kurdish that does not speak a word about English), the reminder of our reservation.

We had to change hotel and place in Al Maged, price around $63, where we found all the services of a real hotel (street 29 Ayyar, behind the cinema Al Ambassador).

Add French Tower is a hotel in floor, without external panel visible impossible to find by taxi drivers.



I make a point of adding that the other hotels in Syria, I had found in Petit Fûté, corresponded exactly their description.
