It was, at the time of its construction, a private residence with a spectacular view of the Hudson River, it was then the home of a British ambassador, then belonged to Mark Twain and Theodore Roosevelt. In a very flowery neighborhood, Wave Hill is nothing like the Bronx. With a huge garden around it, used by New York City as a public garden, this residence is a jewel carved into the rock. The whole area is beautifully landscaped and maintained like a royal palace. Benches are arranged on the sides for your greatest pleasure.
