Excellent traditional Italian cuisine in a historic pizzeria, one of the oldest in New York City.
One of the oldest pizzerias in the New York megalopolis can be found in the middle of dozens of Russian restaurants. Open since 1907, Gargiulo's pizzeria has hardly changed a bit since it opened. The large room with its slightly old-fashioned charm, the chandeliers decorating the very high ceilings and the portraits of the former tenants provide a very retro atmosphere. The restaurant, whose owners are originally from Naples, specializes in traditional Italian seafood dishes.
