Financial and commercial center with a view of the Statue of Liberty offering a boat tour of Manhattan
If you travel around Manhattan by boat, you will not miss seeing this recently built financial and commercial centre east of the World Trade Center site, along the Hudson River: the enormous conservatory greenhouse, with a structure worthy of Gustave Eiffel, is the only famous one. Inside this winter garden, the decor consists of a forest of palm trees around which are arranged bars and restaurants. On summer evenings, you can dance in the square by the river, from where the view extends to the Statue of Liberty.

Une belle découverte au bord de l'eau
J'ai pu découvrir ce centre au cours d'une promenade au bord de l'eau. L'atrium est impressionnant et l'ensemble constitue une belle bulle de paix près du tumulte de Manhattan.

Jardin d'Hiver très sympa avec ces grands palmiers sous une magnifique verrière, qui a souffert le 11/09 puisque'à deux pas du WTC, avec une foultitude d'enseignes pour déjeuner : je recommande de vous prendre quelque chose au Mighty Quinn's BBQ (il y en a ailleurs dans NY...) et de déguster le tout dans le parc adjacent le long de l'Hudson.

Bizarrement un havre de paix après le tumulte de la ville. Superbe atrium. A deux pas du fleuve et d'une superbe promenade démarrant au nord par le Rockefeller Park et finissant au sud dans le Battery Park. Superbes couchers de soleil. Attention aux joggers. Par jour de pluie, le sol peut être glissant.
