The quietest park at the southern tip of Manhattan with a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Located at the southern end of Manhattan, this park is one of the quietest in the city. It offers a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At sunset, when the traders have gone home, the park is cooled by the sea breeze. And you can see, right there, Manhattan already illuminated and not yet in bed. Going up the path along the Hudson River, you reach the marina where yachts and sailing boats set sail. From there, you can take the boats of the NYC Ferry network and the ferry that takes travelers to Staten Island for free.

Au bout de Manhattan
Au bout de Manhattan ce trouve ce parc, lieu de passage pour prendre les ferries allant à la Statue de la Liberté et à Ellis Island. Il y a souvent des spectacles de rue, le coin étant plein de touristes.

Le parc est petit, mais il constitue un point de passage quasi-obligé, et très agréable. Belle vue.

départ pour la statue de la liberté !
Battery Park n'a pas d'intérêt, sauf celui d'être l'endroit où l'on prend les billets pour la statue de la liberté et où on embarque sur le ferry pour y aller, et aller à Ellis Island
