Home on the banks of the East River with a beautiful walkway and a breathtaking view of Queens and Roosvelt Island
On the banks of the East River, this house was built in 1799 as the second home of the Scottish king of shipping, Archibald Gracie. Typical of the federal style which was very fashionable at the time, it was bought by the city in 1896 and, since 1942 (and still today), has been the official residence of the mayors of New York. On the way out, and before heading into the adjacent Museum Mile, take a stroll through Carl Schurz Park, which offers a beautiful boardwalk along the East River and stunning views of Queens and Roosevelt Island.

Maison bien gardée par les forces de l'ordre, on ne voit pas grand chose mais balade agréable dans le parc situé en bordure de l'East River. Un peu excentré
The best at New York (Manhattan) and around
