A beautiful white Episcopal church with a pointed roof in Manhattan that houses a cultural center with poetry recitals and plays.
It is worthwhile to walk past this pretty white episcopal church with its pointed roof, which is located on one of the most beautiful street corners in the neighbourhood. When New York was founded, when the East Village was still only green pastures, the Dutchman Peter Stuyvesant, Governor of New Amsterdam, decided to build a chapel there, which was erected in 1660, and his tomb is now located there. The church also houses a cultural centre, with poetry recitals and plays.

Petit coin d'histoire
