Church on the campus of Columbia University with a Renaissance façade and Byzantine architecture.
St. Paul's Chapel is the campus church of Columbia University. It was built in 1904 by a young New York architect and is an edifying example of American religious architecture of the time, offering a mixture of Neo-Renaissance style for the exterior, and Byzantine architecture for the façade. Inside are pieces of furniture that were engraved in Florence, Italy. This is one of the few buildings on campus that can be visited without a student ID, so don't deprive yourself!
