Harlem's busiest gospel church where the audience sings along with the choir and sings along to the songs
It is not one of the most famous gospel churches in the Harlem district, but it is certainly one of the most popular. Many immigrants from North Africa (sometimes French-speaking) find their way there. Unlike other churches, the public (apart from the few tourists) sings with the choir and choirs the songs again. Attention, photos and videos are strictly forbidden and proper clothing is required. If you do not intend to stay for the two hours of Mass, sit at the top, towards the entrance.
