It is here that everything started, the first organized and militant reaction to denial of police (and societal) oppression against the gay community in 1969. It was in this bar that the police raid took place. A place of relaxation and history to see. Evenings are organized every evening in a joyful mess. Concours competitions are regularly organised. The staff is considered one of the most welcoming of New York gay and lesbian institutions. In short, you can relax, relax and sip a cocktail in a place that changed the world while waiting for bingo numbers. The management changed in 2009 and the establishment has just been completely renovated, without losing its assets!
