It's one of the first bars in the Lower East Side whose success hasn't fallen despite ever stronger competition. Perhaps it should be made clear that this bar can in no way be equated with lounges that open up everywhere. He kept his neighbourhood bar soul and attracted more of a clientele of marginals and students than the top models. Here you are in one of these dive bars, where the drinks are inexpensive.
