Go to this club to listen to good blues and excellent jazz as in the days of the musical giants who played there.

A stained glass window depicting Louis Armstrong sets the tone. Between 1923 and 1970, the Cotton Club was the place to be for jazz in New York. Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Jimmie Lunceford, etc, followed one another on its stage. Since 1978, a new Cotton Club has been built, but even the nostalgics of the old Cotton on 142nd Street flock there to have dinner (from Friday to Sunday) and listen to good blues and excellent jazz as in the time of these musical giants. The weekend gospel brunch is worth a visit.
