A stay in a historic youth hostel in New York City.
This youth hostel was built in the 1940s to accommodate soldiers who fought in the Second World War and who could only pay a few dollars in rent. While the facility has since been renovated, the owners have done a magnificent job of preservation. This means that the rooms are very small, but still have a small chest of drawers to store your clothes. The bathrooms, which are rather well maintained, are shared. A place steeped in history.
