Hotel with luxurious rooms in a historic and quiet setting in the heart of the Upper East Side.
Opened in 1920 in a former Italian neo-Renaissance apartment building, the Mark rhymes with prestigious hotels. Renovated in 2009 in a design style, it has 100 modern, ultra-comfortable and fully equipped rooms. The white and black tiled bathrooms are superb. The real difference between the Mark and his neighbour the Carlyle is the relaxed rigour of the former (no tie, no suit jacket). You are here in the heart of the Upper East Side, in a block well frequented by the small world of the neighborhood.

This is a review for the bar. Although I’ve recommended the hotel to out of town friends because it’s so special. They are on point with all details and it’s absolutely stunning. Fun crowd in the main and restaurant bar, great service and fun ambiance. The hotel has bikes out front a cart to Bergdorf’s. I’ve had dinner here before and both experiences were stellar. Love the outside seating area and terrace too. Oh and you can get your hair done,

Ottimo albergo, posizione magnifica, a due passi da Central Park, ottimo ristorante frequentato anche dagli stessi newyorkesi, colazioni abbondanti e per tutti i gusti. Camere spaziose, pulite, moderne (prese usb) , box doccia spazioso, vasca da bagno, tutti i comfort di un hotel di lusso. Personale eccellente.
