Trendy hotel with restaurant, bar and gym in the heart of New York's theatre district.
Pertussis of New Yorkers since its opening in 1990, Paramount is located in the heart of the theater district. It is a practical situation but not very exciting. The interest is elsewhere. First, the staff is young and beautiful, boys and girls molded into Armani black tuxedos. Next, Philippe Starck's décor - dark hall, giant chandelier, colour sofas open under the staircase open in a circle of circle - impresses with its intriguing, trendy and decadent look. On the first floor, a belt restaurant dominates the lobby behind its smoke windows. At the same level, the gym, which is necessarily modern. DON NOT BOOK HERE!!!!
Some things to note... no coffee in rooms, no wash cloth in bathrooms. Lobby is under construction and if they tell you to use electrical outlets (I needed to charge phone) on floor - Don't, they are not safe and don't work anyway. If you arrive early they will charge you to store your luggage. $2 before check-in, $3 after check-out but you can go in to retrieve items if needed.
