Hostel was old and creaky but very clean. Bunk beds were rickety but held me (5.4, 130lbs) up well. I’d not want to sleep in a bunk bed here if I were taller or heavier. Clean bedding and towels were provided. Bathrooms and showers were clean and plentiful. Other travelers were courteous and many were friendly. Breakfast offerings were sparse but functional enough. Location is excellent!

This was the worst night's sleep I've ever had. We stayed at this hostel, not expecting luxury, but expecting comfort and quiet. Instead, we found hard, springy beds. Shaky and loud bed frames. Loud hallway noise (at midnight, 4am, 7am...). We could hear conversations of others. A very overheated room due to the heating system set very high, with a very loud AC (it seems wasteful to run an AC when it's 50 degrees outside, but it was so hot in the room, we had to). We could not sleep. We tried to watch TV, but we couldn't hear it with the AC on. They offer breakfast, but all that was available was fruit and one muffin.
The staff was all very nice. I would hire them. But I would never stay here again. A night of not sleeping is not worth the economical price.

I liked that is was very civilised with everything you might need as a traveller. Breackfast included for all guests. That's superb. Easy peasy check in process. No hidden or extra fees. I'd use this hostel again

My husband and I visited NYC for the first time this weekend, so we were so excited to book a room so close to everything we wanted to see! This B&B was the absolute perfect homebase for us, and had everything we could have possibly needed. While we were only in our room to sleep, we found ourselves very comfortable in every way. We fell in love with NYC and this B&B, and will only be staying here on future trips!

I was very surprised that this hotel not only equalled the fine hostels in Europe but surpassed them. The room was spotless as well as the shared facilities. The lounge and Kitchen area was again both spotless and made the place fell homey. I had asked for the lower floor because of mobility ptoblems and received it. The staff was excellent. The lady at check in gave me a tour, helped with an electronics proplem that was my fault and made me feel not only welcome but valued as a guest. The overnight person assisted me getting up the stairs and the day person at check out carried my heavy bag down the staits for me. The fresh donuts and baked goods at breakfast hit the spot. The ability to use the kitchen for coffee, microwave, and whatever purposes was an added feature that made my stay comfortable. The room itself had everything needed for my stay and then some. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and soft. Towels, face cloths were provided. They are wonderful people and have made this hotel my go to place in NYC.

Excelente lugar definitivamente volveré... personal muy atento y servicial dispuesto a ayudarte...buena ubicación paradas de metro y buses que te llevan a todo, súper limpio eso me encantó....lo recomiendo para los que deseen pasear por NY y hospedarse en un buen lugar ambiente familiar tranquilo excelente desayuno

Clean. Friendly and polite staff. Good communication before check-in. Awesome breakfast. Comfortable beds. Other guests were nice. Great location. Near to public transport and attractions. Felt like home away from home. Thank you! Will come back.

L accueil est superbe le personnel est très agréable et à l écoute . L hôtel est très bien situé . Le petit déjeuner copieux. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes mais ça suffit ! À New York on reste dans la chambre juste pour dormir ! Lieu très agréable et convivial

Great wee hostel. Breakfast is excellent. Sink in room. Small rooms but toilets/showers on every floor. No elevator. Friendly staff. Has all necessary items in kitchen free to use such as milk, tea, coffee, butter, spreads for toast, etc. This is so handy. Air con in room. We really like it here.

Pasamos aquí una semana en septiembre y aunque las habitaciones son pequeñitas y se comparten baños y duchas, esto se acepta pues el precio es muy bueno para esa zona. Todo lo demas, ubicación, trato del personal y desayuno(incluido en el precio) excelente. Nos permitieron, sin ningún problema, llevar la comida preparada que comprabamos a la sala de los desayunos y comerla allí tranquilamente. Para presupuestos justos muy recomendable.

Great spot in a perfect location! Note that no elevator and stairs are pretty narrow heading up to rooms. Room was small but clean and nice to have a sink/ mirror & own AC unit. They also provide towels and breakfast. We never had to wait for shower or washroom either. Would recommend!

Les chambres sont petites et un peu vieilles, celle où nous étions ne sentait pas bon (odeur d'humidité). La climatisation était vieille également et hyper bruyante. Le lit était confortable cela dit et la literie ok. Le petit déjeuné sucré était frais et bon ! Le personnel au top et très arrangeant, merci. Et les douches communes sont propres. Par contre, l'auberge sentait très fort le cannabis c'était insupportable. Tout comme le reste du quartier qui est d'ailleurs très sale (rats et cafards la nuit).
Je pense que ce lieu a besoin d'un vrai rafraîchissement. C'est dommage car ça pourrait être un endroit sympa.

Ostello centrale, ottima qualità prezzo , l'edificio è un po vecchio con la moquette nelle stanze, alcune di queste senza finestra.
Personale gentile e disponibile.

El Hostel muy bien! Siempre limpio y ordenado. El desayuno completo. Funciono todo a la perfección. Excelente atención del personal. Hablan español si es necesario.

Muy bien ubicado, cerquita del metro y de una avenida con varios bares y restaurantes. La limpieza impecable! Super familiar y acogedor! El desayuno también muy bien, con donas, frutas, tostadas y diferentes variedades de panificados cada día. La atención también un espectáculo! Lo recomiendo y definitivamente volvería. Gracias!

Excellent location, this place is a block away from NYU. definitely an experience. :)
the staff is very very helpful, despite the lack of decent facilities-like your own toilet, the place can be an amazing experience in itself.
