Historic hotel in the SoHo district, a stone's throw from the Prince Street subway station.
The Broome was built in 1825 in a federal revivalist style and hosted a community of graffiti artists in the 1980s. You will enter this peaceful jewel, which looks more like a Parisian guest house, through an open courtyard tiled with Moroccan earthenware. The 14 rather upscale rooms are very quiet. SoHo is also the ideal choice for travellers interested in restaurants and trendy shopping. The Prince Street metro station is a stone's throw from the hotel.

The location is perfect, especially if you like to walk, wander, and explore. If you need the train, there are stations super close. If you don’t want to leave the hotel, they have a great bar and a restaurant that serves tasty food. But why did you come to NYC and book a room in Chelsea to just stay inside? You didn’t. So don’t.
The king city view is perfect for a couple traveling with a reasonable amount of luggage for several days. We never felt cramped. These aren’t sprawling Midwest type rooms, so if you need to bring 6 suitcases and throw all of your stuff all over the place to feel fulfilled, you might feel cramped. There are drawers and open storage space under the bed, plenty of places to keep stuff out of the way.
The shower is wonderful, great pressure and very quick to warm up.
The view is stunning. Get a room with a view.
The staff was incredibly friendly. The front desk staff was great at all times, but especially during the fire alarm silliness. They handled a difficult situation with kindness and grace. And they offered fair compensation for the inconvenience.
The stay was the best we’ve had in NYC. Stay here.
