Functionality is the watchword here, but that doesn't stop the hotel from having charm and the rooms from being comfortable. As is often the case, you'll get the best prices if you book well in advance. Staying here gives you the advantage of being right in the heart of Manhattan. Very enjoyable stay - made even better by the wonderful staff - Eddie, Christine, Matthew and Nate. All were very friendly, welcoming and helpful! Enjoyed having a coffee and pastry in the AM (free coffee) as well as drinks at night in the bar. There's a pool table, skiball and ping pong in the game room - very fun. Room, yes was small, but you're in NYC! Room was clean, had numerous outlets (could use second by bed, only one side had an outlet). Front desk provided free ponchos for the rainy day and also 25% off coupon for the Allerton. Location is great - 5 minute walk to GCT and subway lines. Highly recommend for a brief stay!

Localização nota 10! Muito perto da Grand Central Station, fizemos todos os trajetos caminhando. O local pareceu muito seguro para andar a pé. Há café e água de cortesia todas as manhãs no local onde servem o café da manhã. O quarto é minúsculo, se estiver com malas grandes fica muito difícil porque o espaço é basicamente para transitar. Estávamos com 2 malas de mão, então conseguimos lidar bem. O quarto era limpo, as camas são boas, arrumado, se você quiser eles trocam todos os dias as toalhas e limpam o local. Quantidade de tomadas suficientes. Mas não é um quarto para você dividir com quem não tem intimidade, porque o banheiro tem paredes de vidro, com uma parte fosca até a altura do pescoço +/-, a porta não fecha 100%, privacidade zero!

100%recommend if traveling solo or with a pet.The rooms are small for a couple even with small luggage.You can't beat the location,cleanliness and staff!
