If you're homesick, this is the place to be. This grocery store was created by Lyon-based chef Daniel Boulud, who has been in New York for more than 25 years and also runs the two-star restaurant Daniel. You'll find sandwiches (one of the best ham and butter in New York, in our opinion), salads, quiches and hot dishes that are always changing. You can eat in or order take-out. The place, which is also a delicatessen, also has an oyster bar. Nice but a bit expensive.
