One of the few Asian establishments in New York, which focuses on mushrooms and fermented vegetables.
One of the few Asian restaurants vegan in the city. In Hangawi, therefore, there is no meat but an impressive selection of mushrooms and more rare vegetables such as kimchi (fermented vegetables in brine, a Korean specialty), as well as seaweed. The traditional Korean cuisine of this restaurant will help you understand the obvious differences with East Asian, Japanese and Chinese cuisines. Only common point, the preponderance of rice and spices. Note that the card also offers a gluten-free menu.

J'ai découvert cet année de quartier coréen et une superbe surprise avec ce restau. Une idée originale pour visiter nyc. Je ne connaissais pas ce type de cuisine et c'est vrai que c'est très bon. À essayer sans soucis
The best at New York (Manhattan) and around
