Excellent steaks in a restaurant with wine bar in New York City.
The motto: "If steak were a religion, Smith & Wollensky would be its cathedral". Under a huge clock - time is money - the atmosphere, at noon, is business: this Steak & Chop House is a well-known business restaurant. The restaurant owner also acts as a butcher and matures pieces for a little less than a month to make them softer. A superb wine bar is perched on the first floor, and the last room is illuminated by a glass roof.
