Superb restaurant of French cuisine in the theater district of New York.
The meeting of the French community in New York. Located in the theater district, and more precisely in what was once the French quarter, the All Va Bien is a discreet but safe address of French cuisine. Discreet and essential. Fifty years ago the sailors landed there. Today, this charming and charming restaurant is a meeting place for Francophones and Francophiles - French sportsmen and women find themselves on a regular basis. The room, with its comfortable red leather benches and its attentive and friendly waitresses in Brittany, is decorated with paintings, but mostly pictures of the show people, whose loyalty is surely the best guarantee of quality for this restaurant which serves the most classical of the French cuisine: sole sole meunière, marinières mussels, stir-fried kidneys, snails, frog legs, lamb coast, chateaubriand, authentic wines of France and cream burned to dessert. Sometimes comes a accordionist, so we push tables and dance. The boss, Jean-Pierre Touchart, is happy with his fate, his clients are his friends, everything is fine…
The chef lets himself go to the equipment. It probably think that American not know french cuisine will be satisfied with poor dishes. Too bad!
