Closed in 2010 to the great despair of fans of the first hour, the old Empire Diner reborn from its ashes in 2011 under another name: The Highliner (we are just a few steps away from the new section of the Line). A new name for a place that finally has not changed one iota. The metallic restaurant is still a small masterpiece Art Deco, the choice of beer is always interesting and the kitchen does not deserve any special mention (salads, sandwiches, etc.). The places are always open a large part of the night and the atmosphere of dinner is still electric! This place, formerly open 24 hours a day, has always attracted a continual stream of night-owls. This classic Chelsea classic wakes up on weekends. Not to mention the brunch, to take the summer on the terrace.
