MILON
Excellent tandoori and authentic cuisine at the cheapest Indian restaurant on 6th Street in New York City.
On 6 th Street, between 1 st and 2 nd Avenue, Indian restaurants follow (call this Indian Row segment). The servers are on the street competing to attract the client. Milon is probably the best and cheapest in the list. On the first floor, in a tiny, stretched room of red and all in length, you can enjoy colourful and fine dishes, illuminated by neon kitsch and hip-hop music, reggae and house. A little Bollywood. In the programme, specialities from this State: masala curry (vegetables, beef, sheep, crab, shrimp, chicken), bhuna masala, kurma masala and vindalooshag masala (highly spicy), tandoori, home specialities (including lentils and spinach) and desserts, including the famous kulfi, an ice cream. The kitchen is authentic and the service is discreet and friendly. Of course, you can use lassi (whipped yogurt). A small corner of India in the heart of the East Village.
A part ça la carte est bien fournie et les prix sont interressants.
