New York restaurant offering good sandwiches, excellent espresso, one of the best in the city, and a variety of tasty dishes.
It's like a chic pasticceria in Via Veneto in Rome, Milan or Turin. Exquisite petits fours and pleasant sandwiches of sandwich bread wait on the counter under the shelter of elegant displays. The restaurant, like the clientele, is a bit stuffy. Everyone takes their time (and so does the staff). The carpaccio is very recommendable, the cappuccino is smooth, and the espresso is one of the best in town... As for the bill, it is salty! One of the traditional preppy New York stops.
