Restaurant and bar with a subdued atmosphere offering one of the best hamburgers in New York.

Corner Bistro's reputation is well established. This restaurant-bar is a veritable institution! While the bar is left to old regulars, the small dining room serves up some of the city's most authentic, no-frills burgers. The real grilled hamburger, with onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato (BLT) and fries for US$6 and a dollar more for the "Bistro". Thick, melt-in-the-mouth meat, fresh produce and no-nonsense service. Beware, there's often a queue as no reservations are taken, but it moves fast.

le meilleur burger de New York ?
A mon sens, effectivement l'un des meilleurs qu'il m'ait été donné de manger dans cette ville. La cuisson était parfaite et la viande moelleuse à souhait. Nous y avons été en plein après-midi, nous étions seuls à être servis. C'était top !

Too tourist, all customers have a guide in their hand. To avoid. Meat too cooked in their automatic grill, like other fast food, plastic plates and average French fridge. Near the high line to digest this meal far from being unforgettable.

Inevitably, you can hear everywhere that it is the best bistro eat the best burger, then you go there, but you are a little disappointed. The decor is nice, well vintage but the burger is not to damn itself either! Good but nothing more! To make right to validate it in your guide!

J'y suis retourné 15 ans plus tard par nostalgie. Les banquettes en bois, les boiseries sombres, les frites croustillantes et le burger (un poil trop cuit) ont fait leur effet. Ce n'est pas ou plus le meilleur burger de NYC mais cela reste une bonne adresse.
