Seafood restaurant with oyster bar, tea room and brunch in Manhattan.
It is hard to believe that Balthazar has only existed since 1997, as the "old Parisian brasserie" atmosphere is so successful. Servers dressed in the old-fashioned style, tiling on the floor, dimmed lights, mirrors on the walls, etc. The place is specialized in seafood, you will find there an excellent oyster bar, but brunch is also famous. For dinner, it will be steak tartare, hot goat cheese salad or mussels and chips... in short, only classics. Balthazar also has a small tea room area where you can taste the daily pastries.

Nous avons opté pour un burger recommandé par le serveur français.
Vraiment un agréable moment et un endroit calme, si on demande de baisser un peu la musique et ... si on a pris sa petite laine pour déjeuner même en plein mois de juillet. Brrrr stop à la climatisation à outrance ! ;-))
