Grand Central is one of the oldest stations in the United States still in operation (built between 1903 and 1913), in the heart of Midtown. Mythical, it is worth a visit on its own and it floats an old-fashioned air not without charm. It was almost destroyed, however, and it took Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' full weight to guard and renovate this station. Today, it serves the northern suburbs (MetroNorth), northeastern New York State and Connecticut. During rush hour, there is incredible excitement!
