A controversial and often criticized brand in the United States (its president, very megalomaniac, refuses that the "ugly ones" wear his clothes...) but which still appeals as much to American and European teenagers. In New York, Abercrombie has chosen a huge space with the appearance of a nightclub: subdued or even dark lights, black and minimalist decoration, top model sellers, music at full speed, and clothes highlighted as works of art. Surprising for a cool and not overpriced sportswear brand, but an obvious sign of its success.

Fan presque inconditionnelle de la marque Abercrombie & Fitch et de sa petite soeur Hollister, je souhaitais depuis longtemps mettre un pied dans le magasin de la 5th Avenue que l'on m'avait vendu comme surréaliste. Après y avoir fait quelques emplettes, je n'irais pas jusqu'à employer ce qualificatif; mais, j'ai trouvé le magasin très bien rangé et agréable, à la hauteur du service attendu. Le choix était assez important mais ce qui m'a le plus marqué fut la gentillesse et la prévenance du personnel. Une chose est sûre, si je foule une nouvelle fois la 5th Avenue, je remettrais un pied dans ce magasin.

What about except for: I love!!! This shop is an institution in New York and sincerely, the clothes are super! The prices are a little high but good, when you make shopping in New York, you can with what await! The icing on the cake: the model that takes the layout at the entrance of the shop, and you leave with a souvenir photo!
The only downside: background music, disco, quite irritating at the end of a moment!

I had gone a few years ago and indeed it was necessary to queue to enter and be served by vendors barechested.
In 2016, no worries to enter and sellers found their t-shirts.
On the other hand, the atmosphere in the shop is worth a visit, half-light, music, elaborate decoration.
Clothing is of high quality, between 50 and $ __ent_numeric for a sweat.
